Planning a Walk

This page will slowly grow to give some ideas, based on my experience or recomendations of others for ‘Planning a Walk’.

My blog page, Where to Walk will tell you the start of my journey, and my introduction to the lovely Cicerone books.  I would love to hear from anyone who has used their books from other countries.  Do comment on my blog.

Other websites I have used include go4awalk.com.  You can subscibe to them for a nominal fee and download some neat little maps which fold neatly into any small plastic pocket you may have.  There is not so much detail as Cicerone and I have found some to be a little out of date, but they are light and easy in bad weather.  Horses for courses.
