One of my favourite quick walks with my dog – Finn is to park at the Bay Horse Inn at the bottom of the canal in Ulverston and then walk up the canal path back towards Ulverston. Always lots going on – otters, swans and cygnets at the moment and wonderful scenery across Morecambe Bay.
Sounds lovely Helen, even going all the way to the Shetland Isles I have not seen an otter in the wild. I should get over and do the walk, perhaps meet you there?
