Damp Day in Cumbria
Wet all day. Most people appear to have given up on outdoors and resigned to themselves to domesticity, if Twitter and Facebook are any measure.
Just feel sorry for those that can’t get indoors.
Anyone with a dog will have been out already. My short walk this morning was made more delightful by this wondrous sight.
Clambering over an overgrown stile I was faced with a field of stubble spread with cow s….t! A dogs delight, but not mine.
Then a little further was the badger set
Terriers do tunnels big time even at the age of 13. Just managed to grab her before she went down, (I then asked her to pose for the photo) 
The positive to this muddy, local walk? No people, only the sheep kept us company,
and it was so short my flapjack tin is now full again!
Better forecast for tomorrow .
